Peter is a pragmatic, senior Sales and Marketing Executive,
who learned his trade "on the firing line" in
the major selling organizations of IBM, XEROX and Wang.
Since then, his work with small and large clients on 3
continents has produced dramatic improvements in revenues
and profits for them too (see PERFORMAX References).
One of his proudest accomplishments
As a newly hired
region manager of a computer company, he went to the west
coast with a 1-way airfare and a handshake from the General
Manager to turn around its ailing Western Region. He converted
a declining $20 million failure into a $41 million success
- and half way through the year, he became VP Sales of the
$100 million company.
Peter's strengths include:

* Started up IBM Canada's GSD
Large Account Unit, and grew it from inception to become
the largest Unit in GSD Canada within 18 months;
* He left IBM to become Vice
President of a 25-person software house, where he helped
to double the business, and also acted as General Manager
for a time;
* Took over the failing XEROX
Laser Printing Systems Unit, and turned it from 40% to 140%
of Plan in 6 months, and then 180% of Plan next year;
* As Western Region Manager
for WANG, he helped growth from $20 - $41 million in one
year with only a 50% time dedication
then, as VP Sales,
he implemented a National Sales Strategy, which resulted
in 24% growth
whilst the US parent company declined
at 3%.
Based on this background, Peter started PERFORMAX in Toronto
to offer sales and marketing consulting services to an industry
where the quality of the managers and people is the key
to success.

In addition to a consulting practice, Peter formed PERFORMAX
Technologies Inc. to package and market his experience and
skill into a range of world class Management & Sales
Development Programs including:
- For Sales Managers Only;
- A Performance Management System, Perform;
- A suite of Sales Programs including Winning the
Big Deal!, Key Account Planning, Selling
Value & Solutions;

All of these have received excellent reviews from participants
in 6 countries + more important, rapid increases in sales
results!
Many of the key sales management processes devloped with
customers have now been distilled into The PERFORMAX
System, which includes a company wide Opportunity
Planning & Management System.
Peter has taught several times as part of UBC's Executive
Program.
In personal life, Peter, an ex-RAF Pilot, maintains his
commercial pilot's licence.
With a Florida Office, he now resides mainly in Hope Town,
Bahamas, where Clients visit his Retreat there to develop
Strategic or Tactical Plans away from the interrupts of
every day business.
For relaxation, as a qualified Captain, he enjoys sailing
his Cruising Catamaran in the warm seas of the Bahamas.
